The Chrysalis range from Snugpak give great versatility in both warmth and comfort. This is due to the fact that the bags come with an extra large zip baffle running the length of the sleeping bag. The baffle is elasticated and comes with 2 zips to allow the person to have a close fitting super efficient warmer bag or by using the outer zip it allows an extended girth to give a more comfortable roomy fit.
The Chrysalis sleepjng bags are filled with 'Softie' insulation which is highly compressable and gives great warmth to weight. Added to the Softie filling is a space age material called Reflectathem. This metallised material is designed to reflect heat and retain warmth. A highly breathable material that adds little to the weight or packsize of the bag yet provides 15% additional warmth while being undetectable to touch.
The outer is made from Paratex 'Steel plate' which is tough yet balances high breathability, wicking properties and wind resistance. The inner is made from Paratex 'lightweight' which is soft and comfortable to touch but wicks moisture away from the skin rapidly.
