The new Petzl Corax is now ligher weight and more comfortble, thanks to the use of a light weight monofilament mesh used in the belt. This is possible due to Petzls new 'Frame' Technology which uses high strength Bias tape on the edges of the waist belt and leg loops to provide strength and support.

The Calidris is Petzl's top of the range harness for summer and winter use and is very popular with men and women alike.This is due to the fact that the Calidris has extensive adjustments not only in the waist and leg loops but also between the waist and crutch.The two self locking buckles at the waist means you don't have to double back the waist strap, this also means the tie in point is centred and the gear loops are kept in the right place.The waist is wide and split in two at the back which gives ventilation and great support. The Maverick is the fixed leg loop version of the Renegade aimed more at sport and rock climbing. The Maverick also has a free floating waistband. This means that you can easily centre you rack and get to your gear more easily. It also makes cramped and awkward belay ledges more comfortable as you can slide the waist band round without the whole harness getting twisted (or your back), thus stay in line with the belay system and seconding climber below.The waist belt has internal lumber support for extra comfort.
