Nalgene N-Gen Bottles

New from Nalgene is the N-Gen Bottle made of super-tough Polycarbonate. Apart from being extremely durable it's also resistant to staining and odours and doesn't make your drink taste of plastic. It can be washed in the dishwasher (top rack only) and will withstand temperatures from -135ºC (-211ºF) to 135ºC (275ºF). The bottle has a 53mm opening making it easy to fill from, say, a river and easy to drink from. The cap features a molded in loop, providing a convenient spot to clip or nice finger loop for carrying.

Nalgene Loop-Top Bottles

Sturdy and practical container made from High Density Polyethylene plastic (HDPE) which resists UV and can withstand temperatures from -100ºC to 120ºC. The wide mouth allows these bottles to be used for storing not only liquids but also thick soups , cereals and stews if required. Can also be used as a 'Pee bottle' for expedition use, just make sure its not the one your using for your cornflakes! Unlike the Polycarbonate bottles the HDPE do tend to make water taste a bit plasticy after a while. They are also harder to clean thus have a slightly shorter life than the Nalgene Polycarbonate bottles, but then again are alot cheaper.
