The Leki Corklite Aergon comes with the 'Speedlock' which allows quick and very secure adjustment at the flick of a lever. The ergonomic cork/rubber Aergon handle can be held as a standard grip or palm down depending on situation. Typically Leki use the finest high quality aluminium making the poles strong but at the same time allowing a bit of flex. The Corklite poles employ carbide flex tips that deflect up to 30 degrees without damaging the lower pole sections. This reduces the risk of the pole breaking if it gets caught between stones or boulders on a scree slope or trail.
