With a superlative design and outstanding build quality Pod are possibly one of the finest mountaineering sacs around. Especially favoured by winter and summer climbers because of it's simple slimline shape and robust construction. The designer Pete O' Donovan (POD) who is also an experienced climber realises the importance of a good back system and has created a harness with supportive padding and ergonomically shaped back which gives superb comfort and very importantly spreads the weight of a heavy sac to the right areas of the body.There are 3 different back lengths available catering for nearly all sizes.The Pod sacs are made to an extremely high standard of finish and as a result will put up with the worst of conditions in all situations.
Pete O'Donovan has now sold his company to Equip who also own Rab and Outdoor Designs. They are no longer made in the UK but the same high standard of finish is maintained. Pete O'Donovan will continue to be involved in the design and development of Podsacs.
