The Mammut Tusk is an affordable multi-purpose cragging rope. It handles well and at 9.8mm it can be used with most belay devices easily. Perfectly at home on single pitch cragging routes and sport climbing routes. The Tusk is a non waterproofed rope so is not suitable for winter or Alpine use.

Mammut Serenity 8.9mm
Serenity, the lightest single rope in the world is only made possible with COATINGfinish®. During this finishing process, the individual fibers are being stabilized with Teflon. This minimizes the abrasion between the fibers and improves slippage. The stress is evenly distributed to all fibers and the rope can withstand greater forces. This process improves the service life, optimizes handling through a uniform grip, and provides high dirt and water resistance. Serenity, the lead product of the Mammut rope range is, of course, in addition to the COATINGfinish® also equipped with the exclusive Mammut superDRY® and duraFLEX® (new) processes and therefore, offers the best in technology.
It must be pointed out that Serenity is intended for use in on sight and red point climbing due to its reduced sheath proportion. This rope is not suitable for work-out climbing and top roping since these applications reduce the service life of the product considerably based on the increased material abrasion. The Serenity is also certified as half rope and thus also can be used for three-party ropes in the alpine region

The Joker is in effect at the same time a single rope, a half rope and a twin rope.
This rope will be loved by the most extreme climbers, seeking lightness and easy running, as much as by more traditional climbers seeking a multi-purpose rope for ridge routes or classic face routes, mixed ice and snow, or snow alone.
ATTENTION :
Used as a ‘single’ this rope may not be grippable by all hands, and in all devices: in effect its fineness makes it a rope which demands expert holding and controlling. ‘Classic’ devices, designed for higher diameter ropes, will give reduced braking, and some self-locking auto-brakes may simply not work.

The Beal Iceline ropes have extremely low impact force which makes them the ultimate Continental style ice climbing rope. This low impact force helps the Iceline to take considerable pressure of marginal protection which is a real bonus when running it out way above your last ice screw! At 8.1mm they are super skinny and super slick so extra care has to be used both while belaying and abseiling.The Iceline is quite a specialized rope which is best used on steep ice rather than lower angle routes. The Beal Cobra half ropes are a great choice for both winter mountaineeing as well as mountain cragging. At 8.6mm they are light to carry on long approaches to routes but still offer good durability.
